| We’ll be travelling to Dargo on Friday and camping at the back of the Dargo hotel Friday night.
For those who want to drive in convoy we’ll leave Bendigo at 9am and head in via bright and buckland valley exploring some tracks along the way to Dargo (the thinking is to take Buckland Valley Rd and come up Twins Jeep Track then take the Dargo High Plains Road). Some may opt to just meet in Dargo on Friday night, this is ok too. Saturday we will head along Crooked River and up Billy Goat Bluff Track to the Pinnacles, down Moroka Road to Avon Road to camp. Sunday will be around Avon Road into Ben Cruachen. Monday we will head home from Ben Cruachen via Melbourne, which is approximately a 4 hour drive in Easter traffic. Time getting back to Bendigo could vary from 3pm to later in the afternoon depending on what we do in the morning & traffic through Melbourne. |
