Description of Trip
Base camping in the Howqua Hills Historic area.
Meeting at Fry’s Hut on the Friday night or Saturday morning.
Saturday:
We will take Howqua Hills track to Mitchell’s track passing the Old Slate mine and the Mitchell Homestead site, making our way to Wrens Flat, around Silvermine track to Jamieson road. Into Granny’s Flat through the river crossings up Masters track and Symes track, Three Chain track and back to Fry’s Hut via Sheepyard Flat
Sunday:
We will drive along Brocks road, Bluff track to the Bluff Hut and Lovicks Hut, stopping at these iconic Huts then stopping at Picture Point for that awesome photo. We will continue to King Billy and back along Brocks road to camp.
