As the Sandhurst 4WD Club’s founding year comes to a close the club would like to thank everyone who has been involved in supporting and helping establish the club.

The last few months has been full of excitement, with lots of new ideas going into the success of the Sandhurst 4WD Club and none of this success would be possible without the support of club members, community and business groups in Greater Bendigo and Central Victoria. Each one of our trips this year have demonstrated what the club is all about, and next year is shaping up to be another big one, with lots of exciting trips on the calendar.
Feedback from FWDV tells us we are ticking all of the right boxes, and we do appreciate any feedback you have to offer to help us continually improve the club.
Some brief achievements that you have all contributed to over the past few months:
- September 2017 – Sandhurst 4WD Club was registered as a not-for-profit incorporated association and affiliated with 4WD Victoria
- October 2017 – Facebook group officially launched (later moved to a Facebook page)
- October 2017 – The club’s first trip (Buckland Valley)
- October 2017 – The club’s first social event (Camp Oven Cook Out)
- November 2017 – The first club meeting at the Golden Square Hotel
- November 2017 – The club’s first community education event (talking to the Maiden Gulley Scout Group)
- December 2017 – Launch of the Sandhurst 4WD Club website
In a period of just over 3 months, the club has held:
- 3 Trips
- 2 Club Meetings
- 1 Social Event
- 1 Community Education Event
None of this would be possible without the contribution from members and support from the community. So, thanks again, and hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable break over the Christmas and New Year period. See you in 2018!
