The Sandhurst 4wd club not only offers a range of weekend trips through out the year, day trips are also ran. Ernie and Gaye decided to run a day trip in our local area to Mt Moliagul and Mt Bealiba. With Covid 19 restrictions still in place a limit of 10 people was all that was allowed for this trip.
Ernie the trip leader and the five vehicle convoy arrived at Newbridge at 10am (19th July 2020) and enjoyed some morning tea. They then took off to find some tracks, they went onto Mt Moliagul rd, then up Western Lookout track, arriving here they took in the views. From the top they travelled down Main track to the Southside into Water point track, continuing on down to Moliagul park for lunch.
After lunch the convoy travelled to Mt Bealiba Range, then drove Martins track to Ridge track, onto Sixth track, Fifth track, Forth track, Third track, to first track back onto Martins track, to Old Goldsborugh track, ending up in the small township of Dunolly which concluded the trip.
