We had 10 participants completed their training course doing a 3 hour theory session on the Friday night. And a 8 hour Practical course on the Saturday, very one had a blast and we celebrated a successful training course with Dinner at the Bridgewater Hotel. Thank you to all the participants – it was a great two days!
This is an introductory course designed to make you a Safe, Responsible 4W Driver.

- 4WD’s on the road
- How a 4WD works
- Driving Techniques
- Introduction to Recovery
- Safety and Accessories
The Practical Training will cover:
- Difference between 2WD and a 4WD
- Vehicles up to 45 degree angles
- Stop/Start on a hill
- Hills – Assents and Descents
- Mud, Sand, Rocks, Ruts and Water Crossings
